Free Communication

If you have been informed by email that your abstract has been accepted for presentation in a Free Communication Session during the 8th International Shiga Toxin (Verocytotoxin)-producing Escherichia Coli Infection 2012 Meeting please find below information about the procedure.

A Free Communication session is an oral presentation which consists of 10 minutes for presentation, followed by 5 minutes for discussion. You do not have to bring a poster with you.

It is allowed to use PPT slides to support the presentation. There is no limit to the number of slides but we would like to urge you to stick to the time schedule. The official language of the congress is English.

Upload of the slides can be done before the congress through the faculty website.
Go to http://faculty.vtec2012.org/SignIn and log in with your username and password that has been provided to you in the instruction email.
Deadline for upload through the faculty website is 4 May 2012.

Slides can also be handed over onsite at the Speaker Service Center (SSC). Please make sure the slides are delivered at the SSC three hours before the start of the session.

The opening hours of the SSC are:
Sunday, 6 May 07.00 - 18.30 hrs.
Monday, 7 May 07.00 - 18.30 hrs.
Tuesday, 8 May 07.00 - 18.30 hrs.
Wednesday, 9 May 07.00 - 13.30 hrs.
The SSC is located in Room E002, left of entrance E , RAI Forum Complex.
