CV of Ingrid Friesema

In 2005, I started working as epidemiologist at the Dutch National Institute for Public Health (RIVM) within the Centre for Infectious Disease Control, section Epidemiology and Surveillance. Zoönoses and foodborne pathogens are my main topics of interest, mostly Shiga toxin producing E.coli, Listeria monocytogenes and foodborne outbreaks. I coordinate and carry out research and surveillance on these topics, including writing reports and scientific papers.
